Homey Pro: My 60+ Z-Wave Device Experience after 3 Months

In February of 2026, I migrated over 60 Z-Wave devices to Homey Pro and began automating on the Homey platform. I can now confidently say that the system runs stable.
In the past, I read a lot about the now infamous TRANSMIT_COMPLETE_FAIL errors with Z-Wave on the Homey Pro, but I have not experienced these problems in the past 3 months.
Here are a few takeaways from my journey so far:
- Create a map of your home and place your Homey hub where you want it.
- Start by including your mains-powered Z-Wave devices first.
- Begin including devices in the rooms closest to your Homey and gradually work your way outwards.
- Once your mains-powered devices are included, add your battery-powered devices.
- Let the Z-Wave mesh network settle overnight to let it determine the best routes.
