Hi, I’m Joep! I’m a huge fan of smart homes and work as a Cloud Platform Engineer at Enexis.
Eight years ago, I started writing about home automation on my blog: Smart Home Adventure. Over the years, I’ve been incredibly grateful to see the site grow into a go-to resource for HC3 knowledge and materials. It’s genuinely rewarding to know that my work has helped so many people build their own smart home setups.
But as life gets busier, things change. Lately, my schedule just hasn’t allowed for writing those massive, in-depth blog posts in the evenings and on weekends anymore. I’ve also been getting a ton of questions regarding my open-source integrations, and I honestly can’t keep up with answering all of them.
That said, I still love sharing concepts and ideas that might inspire your next automation. So, I decided to take a different approach. I set up a new GitHub repository to share my personal tech notes with the world.
You won’t find highly polished articles here. Just raw, straightforward technical documentation and code that I hope will still help others out.
